You probably have had a moment where you wanted to send text or files from one device to another.

There are already many tools for this, such as Email, WhatsApp, or Google Drive.

But what if the device is not an Apple device, does not have those apps installed, or is not your own device?

Installing an app and logging into the same account just for a quick transfer often feels cumbersome and can leave privacy risks behind.

Online Clipboard (clipboard.im) is built for exactly that kind of cross-device transfer between unfamiliar devices. Its core idea is simplicity.

1. It works on phones, computers, TVs, Apple devices, Android devices, and more.

2. No app installation is required. Any browser is enough.

3. No registration and no login are required.

1. Visit clipboard.im , and the system will assign you a random address such as clipboard.im/watsy

2. We strongly recommend setting your own address, such as clipboard.im/zhangsan, using any letters and numbers with at least five characters.

3. Enter the text you want to send, or upload the files you want to transfer.

4. On another device, scan the QR code or enter the address directly to read the text and download the files.

1. Addresses are limited and follow a first-come, first-served rule. If an address is available and you set a password, it becomes yours.

2. Privacy: data is stored with asymmetric encryption, deletion is real deletion, and text history is not kept after overwrite.

3. This is not a long-term storage service. The server is free, bandwidth is limited, and there is no disaster recovery.
